Pobuda a philanthropist opened his home to host, charity organization, Celebrity Catwalk’s latest fundraiser Penthouse Paws. The swank soiree was to raise much needed funds for the homeless animals of New York City.
During our conversation with Bertok, she expressed “Our mission with our fundraisers is always three fold: We strive to raise money so we can continue to support rescue groups that don’t have budgets of their own and are made up of independent rescuers. We also include adoptable dogs/cats in some of our recent events like Mardi Paws & Casino Royale in an attempt to help them find homes”. Jennifer concluded saying, “we want to continually remind people that 140 cats and dogs are killed here in New York City (all of the boroughs) due to the lack of space in our city’s shelters”.
